This bi-annual flower show has always been a beautiful inspiring collection of horticulture and designs from our talented members.

HSMT’s 2024 Community Flower Show will continue the Annual Nashville Flower and Garden Show tradition once held at The War Memorial Auditorium that brought about the formation of HSMT in 1931.

When The Horticultural Society joined with the Exchange Club to create Cheekwood in 1960, the flower show was redesigned to fit the scope and mission of Cheekwood.

Since then it has been held every two years as a major national flower show based on The National Federation of Garden Club Standards and is open to anyone in the community who would like to showcase their Horticulture Specimen or Design.  In addition to the standard awards, Cheekwood presents two additional major awards selected as the top horticulture and top design entry.

• There is no fee to enter the show. It is open to anyone who has a beautiful plant, floral, or design to share.
• There is no admission charge to participate in the Community Flower Show.
• Admission to the flower show is open and free to the public.  So join us and discover the most beautiful and intriguing specimens from cacti to orchids being grown in Middle Tennessee.
